to Local Favorite
By The Beach Nutrition started the way most great things do — at home. Owner Herson Maya began making his own protein shakes and teas, transforming his own health and diet in the process. When he saw what the right nutrition could do, he wanted to share that with his community.
So he took a leap of faith. Myrtle Beach didn't really have any protein shake shops, and Herson saw the gap. It was intimidating — he'll be the first to tell you that. But he and his family have always believed in betting on themselves. In 2021, By The Beach Nutrition opened its doors on Dick Pond Road, and it's been fueling the Grand Strand ever since.
Today, it's become more than a nutrition shop. It's a feel-good spot with a welcoming atmosphere where every customer is treated like family — and where every drink is made to order, just for you.
It's been really more about helping other people achieve their goals, because then that's going to, in turn, help you achieve your own goals.
